Very thorough, great for students as well as history buffs

I was looking for a detailed history of the United States and this seemed to be the best one. I did not need it for school (this is a textbook hence the price). I bought both volume one and two and although the price is steep I am very happy with my purchase. I am amazed at the amount of information that I have learnt so far.

Not concise/abridged version

Book is in good condition, a little edge wear. Delivery was speedy. In case anyone is wondering, this is not the concise or abridged textbook. All in all a good purchase.
